Pore Refining Clay Mask from Luv Ur Skin: Product Review

If you’re looking for a clay facemask to create a spa experience at home, consider the pore refining mask from Luv Ur Skin. We all want to look young — and the founder of this brand launched her startup when she was young, just 13 years old!

As Izzi reveals on the website, her inspiration came from not being able to use any of her mom’s products, “and not wanting to use baby products.” So, naturally, Izzi started her own brand of products, created especially for teens and tweens.

Luv Ur Skin products are made with natural ingredients and plant extracts to promote clean, clear, and healthy skin. The brand inspires everyone “to empower and respect each other and the environment.”

LittlePinkTop recently received a complimentary “Clear Up – Pore Refining Clay Mask” for review. It’s designed for young skin, particularly tweens and teens. It focuses on clearing blackheads and drawing out impurities, while ensuring that natural oils are not stripped away.

This mask is enriched with bilberry extract that might help reduce enlarged pores. Coconut oil and honey help break down dirt and oil trapped in pores, which, in turn, could clear up blackheads and even skin tone.

The mask is pretty easy to use.

Step 1: Apply an even layer to clean, dry skin.

Step 2: Allow the mask to dry for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3: Once dry, use warm water and a face towel to wash away, then rinse and pat dry.

Clay masks in general can sometimes cause dryness or redness, particularly if overused or left on the skin for too long. So you should be mindful of how your skin reacts to any products of this type. It wasn’t an issue for me!

Previously on LittlePinkTop, we were trying to find out what helps Miranda Kerr keep her baby face fresh, and a comprehensive skincare routine that includes clay masks from time to time turned out to be her answer.

So, girl, wash your face — but don’t be weirdly toxic like Rachel Hollis — and keep your skin glowing!
